Artist Goals

If you’re seeing this page (which isn’t on my website navigation) that’s because you are an elite member of my trusted Inner Circle! Parentood has taught me to have a wide set of goals ready for when opportunity strikes, knowing they may not be progressed in a linear way! Your ideas and suggestions are always welcome,

1. A commission for a portrait of a person of note, in their context, for a public space/institution. This person would have sound ethics, an interesting story, and could be living or dead.

2. A short residency in a public space/institution, responding to the people, location, and activity there. Making sketches and paintings for exhibition at the end of the residency. Happy to travel, for the right opportunity.

3. A short apprenticeship with a late career figurative artist in any 2d medium.

4. To exhibit and sell my work in beautiful well lit spaces with good footfall

5. To find a sponsor/location for an exhibition in 2025 of about 15 of my best recent (and potentially new site specific) work.

6. To work broadly in annual cycles, accumulating and exhibiting work for sale, taking commissions alongside.

7. To regularly enter a range of open calls.

8. I love dealing directly with clients, but am open to representation by a gallery or agent.
