Latest work and direction for 2026

Here are some recent pieces. Alongside a constant practice of sketching from life and plein air painting, I am planning to end the year with another big narrative work, or a commission if the opportunity presents, designed to challenge both myself and the viewer.

I have exhibitions scheduled throughout 2026, including the Dungscape project in both The Mall Galleries (London, at the SWLA annual exhibition) and Sussex (at Knepp Wilding Estate, the inspiration for the landscapes). I will be doing a live demonstration of quick portrait sketching in the SWA annual exhibition (also at The Mall Galleries, in June).
